About
This was a competition about extending the power plant and making a significant landmark. During the project development it became clear that the footprint and logistics couldn't be optimized further, why the focus was to create a building structure which responds to the flexibility needed by a power plant. The power plant becomes one coherent unit through the idiom and choice of material.

Materials
The building structure is made out of polycarbonate to create a light and coherent expression of the plant. By using a semi-transparent materiel the building changes appearance from day to night giving the building an self-illuminating look.
