About
This is a competition proposal for a new portal to the city of Malmö, Sweden. The building programme is mixed-use of hotel, office and retail, and is situated on the harbour front. Sustainable approaches have been part of the development to ensure a project of high sustainable quality. There is a basement for parking below the building.

Materials
The building sits on a glazed base from where a folding roof of Tombak evolves throughout the building binding the structure together. The Tombak creates a frame for the glazing facades and emphasizes both the individuality of the towers and creates a coherent expression.
